Katya Krauchanka is a young artist based in Vienna, Austria currently finishing her studies at University of applied arts. In 2016, she was nominated in the Young Artist Award in Dubai, UAE and her artworks were part of the exhibition ”Zureta” in Tokyo, Japan giving her international recognition. Specialised in woodcut, linocut, drawing and painting, this technically skilled artist with the rare ability to reconcile a signature style with artistic versatility finds her inspiration in natural observation of her surroundings. Collecting and combining the elements she finds in her research and her imagination permits her to reflect these into her paintings.
